          The tournament will kick off on Tue, 8th  March 2016, with  Zimbabwe v Hong Kong (PM), Nagpur; Scotland v Afghanistan (Eve.), at Nagpur.

          The tournament will conclude on Sun, 3rd  April 2016  with  Women’s final (PM),; men’s final (Eve.), at Kolkata

          The tickets for the general public are available through Online Mode and Offline Mode.

The window for Online Mode is open.

The window for Offline Mode is yet to be announced.

The ICC ticketing partner for the ICC WORLD TWENTY20 2016  is ‘bookmyshow’.

A lottery system has been introduced for all India matches, both semi-finals and the final.

Cricket Fans have to register for the lottery at the ‘bookmyshow’, website.

          Registration is a simple process. A valid email id and mobile number are prerequisites for registration. Validation of the mobile number is through OTP.

          The lucky applicants will receive the conformation in their mail, which also contains a payment link.

          Payments are accepted through debit / credit card, net banking, cash card or
Bookmyshow wallet. Ah, the cashback promo offer is not valid for the ICC WORLD TWENTY20 2016  tickets

ICC has clarified that under the lottery system, all applications made within the lottery window have an equal chance of being successful. There is no advantage to applying early in the lottery window.


Cricket being the most followed game in India, majority of fans would be interested to see a Live Match. Hence, the online sale of ICC WORLD TWENTY20 2016 tickets will introduce eCommerce to a large number of first-timers.
