Hyderabad has two food outlets. One is a full fledged restaurant with 1000
sets. The second one is designed like a fast-food restaurant just outside the
billing counters, before the exit doors.

business plans. All IKEA stores spread across 50 countries have full-fledged
restaurants in addition to fast-food counters.

The usual fare at IKEA restaurants consist
of meat and seafood and fish dishes, vegetables and side dishes, beverages,

As is the norm, the Hyderabad restaurant
has a slightly tweaked menu to suit Indian taste buds and preferences. Beef and
Pork have been replaced by chicken and salmon.
Additionally there are items such as dal
makhani, green salad, salmon fillet, veggie balls, fruit salad, cakes, hot
beverages and more.
IKEA will open its 2nd store in
India at Mumbai in 2019. Bengaluru will host IKEA’s 3rd store by
2020. The ground breaking for Bengaluru store took place in the 2nd
week of October 2018.
IKEA Bengaluru is planned as a 500,000 sq.
ft. store, connected to the Nagasandra Metro Station. IKEA Bengaluru plans to
welcome more than 7 million visitors every year.
The store will offer a wide range of
beautiful and affordable home furnishing solutions for the many people in
Karnataka. As is the norm, the IKEA store will have around 2000 parking space
and a 1000 seater restaurant serving Swedish and Indian delicacies. It will
also house a supervised children’s play area called “Småland”. Around 7500
products will be on offer with solution to create a better and brighter
everyday life at home.
