PostPe – Looking forward to these SEVEN Features

PostPe – Looking forward to these SEVEN Features

PostPe is the latest entrant in India's BNPL scene. PostPe is the customer facing app of BharaPe.
As this is the standard procedure, cusotmer onbarding is completely digital assisted by Aadhaar.

Once the risk acceptance is done by PostPe , based on customers inputs, the limits are created and the borrower can start using the funds.

In case, the borrower desires to transact with a phsycial card, he/she can order for a phyiscal card.

To increase the usage of my PostPe limit, I am looking for these seven features.
In case you have some more wishes, please drop a mail @
PostPe team may be interested to make it live, very soon.

Seven Features:- F1 - Upfront Declaration that phone number is required for non-bharatpe merchants Why 1) As of now, this is still in beta stage, and direct payment is allowed only for merchants having BharatPe QR Codes. Merchants phone number has to be keyed in for payments to other QR Code merchants. It will be good, if the declaration that phone number is mandotory till further updates, for Non-BharatePe merchants. This will increase the strike rate F2 – BBPS integration Why 2) PostePe customers can pay their PostPe just by keying their PostPe account number in any BBPS App, instead of being restricted to PostPe channel only. This will assist PostPe users to request their friends to pay their PostPe bill.

F3- Location highlight of the payment transaction

Why 3) This will benefit PostPe users by easy reconciation of transactions done through various modes i.e Card / QR Code scan etc.

F4 – category tag i.e food, groceries, entertainment etc

Why 4) This will assist PostPe users to assign tags to their transactions and assist in month end budgeting exercises. This will also increase the stickiness amongst PostPe users.

F5 – when location on – nearby bharatpe merchants find feature

Why 5) This will assist users to go to the nearest merchant and make optimum use os PostPe credit facility.

F6 – Category Limits eg food, shopping, fuel, bills etc

Why 6) To let users set up category limits say, Food INR2,000/-, Entertainment INR4,500/- etc., and keep a check on their expenses.
This will increase stickiness as users will keep coming back to the PostPe to check the various transactions.

F7 – Sharing of Limit - with responsbility payment on the main borrower

Why 7) Simple – PostPe has assigned me a limit of INR15,000/-. I would like to sub-assisgn a part of this to my ward, who is new to borrowing and does not have a credit score.

Disclaimer: These are my personal thoughts only. The bottom line is 'Safe ePayments'.
