HDFC Bank, Swiggy, and Mastercard Collaborate to Introduce a Co-Branded Credit Card. The Show Stopper

 The Show Stopper

HDFC Bank, Swiggy, and Mastercard, each renowned in their respective domains, have united to deliver an exceptional credit card experience to their valued customers.

The sign-up process is seamlessly integrated within the Swiggy App, eliminating the need for a separate application.

Home and office addresses can conveniently be retrieved from Swiggy's saved addresses, and any updates can be effortlessly managed within the same app.

It's important for Swiggy customers to ensure that their home address on Swiggy matches their Aadhaar Number records.

While customers are required to provide their official email address, it's worth noting that Swiggy and HDFC Bank have clarified that official correspondence will not be conducted through this email.

Naturally, customers will need to share their PAN (Income Tax Permanent Account Number) to facilitate the credit check conducted by HDFC Bank.

Once these basic details are shared, HDFC Bank promptly assigns a credit card limit, making the entire process straightforward and hassle-free.

However, it's worth mentioning that the annual fee of INR 500 may be a deterrent for some potential applicants.

HDFC Bank and Swiggy, India's foremost on-demand convenience platform, have jointly introduced the Swiggy HDFC Bank co-branded credit card.

This innovative credit card, which is Swiggy's inaugural entry into co-branded cards, will operate on the Mastercard payment network. It offers cardholders attractive rewards and advantages across a variety of online platforms, including Swiggy.

By merging Swiggy's customer-centric approach with HDFC Bank's trusted banking services, the goal is to create the most rewarding card for online shopping.

This partnership reaffirms Swiggy's commitment to delivering outstanding convenience and value to its users.

Credit card holders can access a wide array of benefits, including a 10% cashback on Swiggy-related expenses, covering food delivery, quick commerce grocery delivery, dining out, and more.

Furthermore, cardholders can also enjoy a generous 5% cashback when shopping across numerous platforms, including major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Ola, Uber, PharmEasy, NetMeds, BookmyShow, and many others.

This additional 5% cashback benefit extends to branded websites such as Nike, H&M, Adidas, Zara, and more.

Additionally, customers will receive 1% cashback on other purchases, provided in the form of Swiggy Money, which can be utilized for various transactions within the Swiggy ecosystem.

As a special welcome perk, cardholders will receive a complimentary 3-month Swiggy One membership, the country's exclusive membership program that offers benefits across food, grocery, dining out, and pick-up and drop services.

Apart from cashback on everyday expenditures, Swiggy HDFC cardholders will also have access to World Tier Mastercard perks, including free stays and dining, complimentary loyalty memberships, and more, enhancing the overall cardholder experience.

Kindly be aware that the aforementioned details are derived from the HDFC Bank Press Release dated July 26, 2023.

It's customary for terms and conditions to evolve with time. Typically, updates to these terms and conditions are influenced by customer feedback and internal strategy discussions.
