NPCI’s RuPay 'Link it, Forget it' Campaign: Redefining Wallet-Free Lifestyle at IPL 2024

One the major innovations in the Fin Tech arena in 2024 is the ability to link your RuPay Credit Card in a UPI App and forget your physical card at home.

The popularity of this innovation reflects in the increase of RuPay Credit card volumes. As more and more merchants start accepting this payment mode, the volumes will just keep going up and up.

In this regard, to enhance the recall value of RuPay Credit Cards via UPI, NPCI has rolled out an advertising campaign.

Majority of UPI Apps viz BHIM / Google Pay / Paytm / PhonePe, etc  now offer this facility.

In a world where convenience is king, RuPay, as an associate partner for TATA IPL 2024, has taken a bold step towards revolutionizing digital payments with its latest campaign, 'Link it, Forget it'.

The campaign, unveiled at the Indian Premier League, is designed to showcase how RuPay Credit Cards, when linked to UPI, can render the physical wallet obsolete, paving the way for a seamless and secure payment experience.

Crafted by the creative minds at DDB Mudra Group, the campaign embodies a playful approach, engaging audiences by demonstrating how the simple act of linking a RuPay Credit Card to a UPI ID can eliminate the need to carry a traditional wallet.

This innovative offering not only enhances convenience but also signifies a significant shift in consumer payment behavior.

As both RuPay and UPI channels are operated by NPCI, the linkage data between the two is readily available with NPCI.

The essence of the campaign lies in its portrayal of the freedom and security that come with making transactions solely through a mobile phone. With RuPay Credit Card on UPI, forgetting the wallet at home is not just a possibility but a lifestyle choice.

The campaign features the renowned Shankar Mahadevan and others in humorous scenarios where individuals inadvertently forget their wallets, only to realize that with RuPay, forgetting is the new norm.

Mr.Ramesh Yadav, Chief Marketing Officer at NPCI, emphasizes the transformative nature of RuPay's offering, stating, "The 'Link it, Forget it' campaign represents a paradigm shift in the payments landscape. By enabling credit card transactions through UPI, RuPay is not just providing a new payment method but is redefining how credit cards are perceived and utilized."

The campaign's creative director, Rahul Mathew, highlights the behavior-changing aspect of RuPay Credit Cards on UPI, noting, "It lets you ditch your wallet and still enjoy all the benefits of a credit card. Through this campaign, we are urging people to break the habit of carrying cards and opt for RuPay instead."

Consumers can easily link their RuPay credit cards with their preferred UPI apps, including BHIM, to enjoy seamless transactions without the hassle of carrying a physical wallet. This innovative offering not only simplifies payments but also underscores RuPay's commitment to enhancing convenience through technological advancements.

As the 'Link it, Forget it' campaign continues to unfold throughout the IPL season, it is poised to redefine the way people perceive and engage with digital payments.

Safe and Stylish: Unveiling World SafeePay and Blouse Day Delights

The need for observing World SafeePay Day and World Blouse Day arises from the absence of dedicated global celebrations for these concepts.

World SafeePay Day aims to celebrate the joy of safe electronic payments in all financial transactions, representing an abstract celebration that highlights the significance of secure and efficient digital financial interactions.

As the world increasingly relies on electronic payment systems, having a designated day for SafeePay emphasizes the importance of secure and reliable digital financial transactions.

On the other hand, World Blouse Day seeks to celebrate the joys of wearing blouses in a more lively and visually impactful manner.

The concept involves a powerful display of togetherness, with millions of people stepping out wearing blouses based on a chosen theme.

This display celebration not only promotes a sense of unity but also serves as a unique and creative expression of shared identity through clothing.

The introduction of these days aligns with the United Nations' approach to designating specific days to raise awareness, promote action, and celebrate achievements related to various global issues.

While international days often focus on serious matters, World SafeePay Day and World Blouse Day offer a mix of abstract and lively celebrations, catering to the diverse interests and aspects of modern life.

In a world where electronic transactions and cultural expressions are integral parts of daily living, these designated days would contribute to fostering awareness and appreciation for safe ePayments and the joy of wearing blouses.

SafeePay's joy, transactions secure,

World Blouse Day, colors allure.

Digits dance, a digital delight,

Blouse themes bloom, in unity's light.
