By being the first to introduce
this unique product ahead of the Kumbh Mela, Indian Bank is positioning itself
as a leader in customer-centric innovation. Here’s why this move offers the
bank a clear first mover advantage:

connection between the bank and its customers. The card becomes more than just
a banking tool; it becomes a cherished memento of the Kumbh Mela, encouraging
greater customer loyalty.
4.
Expansion of Customer Base: Indian
Bank plans to distribute approximately 2 lakh of these Special Edition ATM
Debit Cards during the 45-day duration of the Maha Kumbh Mela. By offering
this exclusive product, the bank not only caters to existing customers but also

the Kumbh Mela, providing a unique customer experience.
Indian Bank’s
Expansive Network and Digital Transformation
Indian Bank’s reach in Uttar
Pradesh is vast, with 1081 branches, 536 ATMs, and over 6000 touchpoints across
the state. The bank is well-equipped to meet the financial needs of the
millions who will flock to Prayagraj for the Kumbh Mela. Additionally, Indian
Bank’s commitment to digital banking is evident, with ₹79,059 crore in business
generated through digital channels in the first half of FY25 alone.
The bank has launched 102 digital
journeys and utilities, and it has seen impressive growth in mobile banking,
UPI, and net banking users. With the total number of Point of Sale (PoS)
terminals rising by 56% year-over-year, Indian Bank is making it easier for
customers to access their money and conduct transactions seamlessly, both
during the Kumbh Mela and beyond.
A Step Toward
Financial Inclusion
Indian Bank is also committed to
promoting financial inclusion. In the second quarter of FY25, the bank
disbursed ₹4492 crore under the Self-Help Group (SHG) scheme, contributing to
the empowerment of underserved communities. Through initiatives like the Special

‘World Blouse
Day’.
Safe and Stylish:
Unveiling World SafeePay and Blouse Day Delights
The need for observing World
SafeePay Day and World Blouse Day arises from the absence of dedicated global
celebrations for these concepts.
World SafeePay Day aims to
celebrate the joy of safe electronic payments in all financial transactions,
representing an abstract celebration that highlights the significance of secure
and efficient digital financial interactions. As the world increasingly relies
on electronic payment systems, having a designated day for SafeePay emphasizes
the importance of secure and reliable digital financial transactions.
On the other hand, World Blouse
Day seeks to celebrate the joys of wearing blouses in a more lively and
visually impactful manner. The concept involves a powerful display of
togetherness, with millions of people stepping out wearing blouses based on a
chosen theme. This display celebration not only promotes a sense of unity but
also serves as a unique and creative expression of shared identity through
clothing.
