Kotak UPI to debut in Kaun Banega Crorepati @ Season 14

Two Major Changes have been brought in KBC Season 14: -

Change 01) A new padaav at the 15th Question - Dhan Amrit, wherein the contestants are assured of prize money of Rs 75 lakh, to commemorate India's 75 years of Independence. Additionally, the jackpot has been increased to Rs 7.5 crore.

02) Till Season 13, viewers engaging through Play Along had the chance to be on the hotseat at the end of the show, but in Season 14 viewers will get a chance to grace the hotseat every Friday.

This is where the Kotak UPI is being introduced. The hotseat winners will have an option to receive the hotseat prize money via Kotak UPI.

There are three routes to the KBC 2022 Hotseat

01)           Fastest Finger First Winner

02)                  Celebrity

03)                  Play Along Winner

Hotseat Category 01) “Fastest-Finger First/FFF” means that part of the Show where 3 questions are asked to the selected Participant(s), who in turn shall answer the same. The Participant who answers all the 3 questions correctly in the least cumulative time shall be entitled to proceed to the Hot

Seat as the Hot Seat Contestant. “Hot Seat Contestant(s)” means the winning Contestant(s) of the Fastest Finger First round and who occupies the Hot Seat before the host of the Show to participate further in the Show.

Need to be physically present on the show set.

 

Hotseat Category 02) “Celebrity special/s”: Any Episode/s of the Show specially recorded with Celebrity Hot Seat Contestant(s). Need to be physically present on the show set.

 

Hotseat Category 03) Need not be physically present on the show set. Can play remotely.

The prize amount varies from category to category

At the same time, the hotseat winners can also opt to receive the prize money via Cheque / Digital Transfer.

No, the winning amount will not be offered in physical cash!!!

Kotak Mahindra Bank customers will have a chance to watch the show live, by winning the exciting contests, that will roll out soon.

          In a new KBC promo, Amitabh Bachchan congratulates a contestant named Santosh who has won Rs 1 crore, and asks him whether he would like to answer the next question. The contestant is beset by doubts as a montage is shown of several people reminding him that he would lose a lot of money of he gets the answer wrong.

Amitabh comforts him and says, “If you answer the question correctly, then you win ₹7.5 crore. But, even if your answer is wrong, you still win ₹75 lakh.” He then tells the audience, “Yes, it is true. Marking the 75th year of Indian independence, KBC now has a new slot.”
