As the sun sets on the 11th day of PM Modi's UPI Challenge, Chennai emerges from the aftermath of Cyclone Michaung. The city, battered by the cyclone, is slowly but surely returning to normalcy.

🛢️ Fueling Recovery: Several petrol pumps have resumed operations, albeit with limited fuel supply. The rush on Tuesday prompted restrictions, with some pumps limiting supply to 10-20 litres.

🛒 Shops and Restaurants Open Doors: Supermarkets, restaurants, and even street vendors breathe a sigh of relief as online payments, including UPI and debit cards, make a comeback. The city is gradually transitioning from a cash-strapped scenario.

🚥 Network Hurdles Persist: While UPI payments are back on the scene, network issues persist, making transactions challenging. Yet, establishments are making efforts to accommodate digital payments.

💻 Digital Resilience: Despite the challenges, the restoration of online payment services brings relief to both businesses and consumers. It's a testament to the resilience of Chennai's residents and their ability to adapt to unforeseen disruptions.
