9 Bengaluru students in training for solving Cyber Crimes

Humanware is a vital clog in detecting and solving cybercrimes. The respective Hardware and Software tools need trained Humanware to extract the best from them.

CCITR’s latest program is a small step towards a Safe Digital World. This program will begin on January 6th 2020 in Bengaluru.

The chosen 9 students will be under chosen mentors for two months beginning from January 6th on various aspects of cybercrimes. The program focus will be on the modus operandi and tools required to crack cyber crimes.

Specialized CEN Police operate across Karnataka, focussing on (C) cybercrime, (E) economic offences and (N) narcotics (CEN). The success of these CEN’s depends on trained personnel to investigate the growing CEN offices. This program is a step to develop a pool of trained personnel who have the aptitude for solving cyber crimes.

The following can be part of the future programs to raise awareness of CCITR amongst Bengalureans:-

Thought 01) Institutionalize the program, with a new course every 6 months.

Thought 02) Spread the word of this unique program amongst police forces of other states. The course should be open to students across India and not restrict only to local students. As the numbers attending this program grows, the knowledge pool to crack cybercrimes will rise.

Thought 03) The pass-outs can be encouraged to conduct 2hour sessions on Cyber Safety in local schools, colleges, corporates, women groups. The more awareness, the safer will be digital transactions.

Thought 04) At the end of the course, a Live quiz be part of the final-pass out session.

Thought 05) White-hackers to test the student’s skills in cracking cyber crimes.

Thought 06) Sessions by Defence industry veterans experts on various techniques deployed to safeguard nation’s cyber border.

Thought 07) A session between students and cyber police team wherein students to execute a cyber crime and cyber police team thwarts it.
