Limited Time Offer – AEMLs Interest-Free EMI Option – Open till 30th Oct.’20

            On public demand, AEML (Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited) has opened the window again for its consumers to opt for 3 months interest-free EMI option.

            All customers receiving individual AEML bills are eligible to opt for the 3 months interest-free EMI Option.

            AEML customers have to specifically opt-in, there is no automatic opt-in option.



            AEML customers who have not previously opted-in can now register through various channels:

01) AEML Kiosk

02) AEML Website

03) AEML Call Centers

04) AEM Customer Care Centers

The window is open from 23rd October 2020 to 30th October 2020 only.

On successful registration, consumers can proceed to pay their AEML Bills through various options.

The ‘Bharat Bill Payment System’, (BBPS) option is highlighted prominently on the landing page.

AEML can choose from the below payment options:

·         BBPS Apps – BHIM, PhonePe, Google Pay etc

·         Quick Pay –        

·         Credit Cards –

·         Debit Cards –

·         Net Banking –

·         Online VDS –

·         RTGS/NEFT –

·         RTGS/NEFT via adanielectricity.com

 

Customers need to be aware of their 9 Digit Electricity Account Number, and for some payment options their Meter Number.

Both the 9 Digit Electricity Account Number and the Meter Number are available on the customer’s physical bill.

The preferred payment options for individual customers are BBPS, Quick Pay, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, Online VDS.

The preferred payment options for corporate customers are RTGS/NEFT, RTGS/NEFT via adanielectricity.com

Quick Pay, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking are instant payment options.

RTGS/NEFT, RTGS/NEFT via adanielectricity.com are deferred payment options, i.e customers have to generate a unique one-time account number to remit funds vis RTGS/NEFT

VDS i.e Voluntary Deposit Scheme is an advance payment scheme, wherein the respective individual customers can deposit amount for deduction of the monthly billed amount. Customers can earn upto 7% on the advance deposit amount. This is somewhat similar to “FILL IT, SHUT IT, FORGET IT”

So, if you are an AEML customer, go ahead and opt for the interest-free 3 EMIs today itself.
