From the Medium website, I hopped on to STRIPE site by keying in the following words STRIPE INDIA

STRIPE setup office in India in last month of 2017. This means UPI was gaining traction in India, and the UPI transactions were going up steadily.

In the Payments Option Page, saw a wide variety of Card Issuer Names, Wallet Names, Bank Debits and Transfer options, Authenticated Bank Debit options, ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’, option, but did not see Unified Payment Interface (UPI)  anywhere.

I am bit surprised to see Unified Payment Interface (UPI)  missing as a Payment Mode in STRIPE’s bouquet of options.
