IDRBT is located in Hyderabad, established by Reserve Bank of India, to spearhead Banking Technology in India.

The Institute spearheads efforts in providing state-of-the-art technologies for the Banking and Financial Sector by interfacing Applied Research and Development, Academics, Executive Education, Practice and Consultancy so as to continuously enable the technology transformation of the Banking and Financial Sector in India and make it future-ready.

The Institute intends to engage Senior Domain Experts to contribute to various technology initiatives of the Institute.

While the Institute's Faculty bring in the technical expertise, these Experts are expected to bring in the domain knowledge of the Banking and Financial Sector.

The working of these two groups in close coordination complimenting each other's strengths is expected to create the synergy to anticipate and respond to the fundamentally shifting technology landscape and enable the Institute to address the fast-changing technology requirements of the Banking and Financial Sector better.
