Fresho is the in house brand of Big Basket

Big Basket is now under Tata Group umbrella

Tata Neu is the latest super app from Tata Group

Under a hybrid model, Fresho physical stores are being opened all over India.

Fresho stores do not have conventional checkout counters. The checkout counters are AI driven, with Self-Checkout and Assisted Checkout counters.

Packaged goods have a unique QR Code, which the AI Scanner reads and updates the customer’s bills

Non-packaged goods are to be placed under the AI Scanner, which detects the respective fruit or vegetable, weight of the product and updates the customer’s bills.

 

Once the bill is ready, the customer has two option for the payment link to appear

Option 01) Request OTP by keying the mobile number

Option 02) Open Fresho App, click on the ‘scan’, button, and scan the QR Code displayed at the AI Billing counter

On clicking the QR Code, the payment options show up

Payment option 1) Cash to the store assistant

Payment option 2) UPI via any UPI App.

And here, the magic can start,

heThe store assistant will request the customer to open PhonePe, Google Pay to complete the payment.

Here, the integration of Fresho with Tata Neu will be wonderful

Once integrated, customers can log into Tata Neu App, click on the scan button, scan the Fresho Order QR code and proceed to Tata Pay for the UPI Payment

Or if customers have saved their cards in the Tata Pay page, Fresho bill payments can be done by the saved cards.
