Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) boost to Bharat Bill Payment Systems (BBPS)

          KSEB Is taking multiple steps to boost the BBPS ecosystem.

          The objective is simple: Encourage more and more customers to pay through the Online Mode rather the Cash Mode.

          The backlash is doubling the efforts of KSEB to encourage its customers to pay through the Online Mode.

          In the near future, look out for multiple campaigns from KSEB to encourage its customers to pay through the Online Mode.

Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) is an Indian public sector undertaking under the Government of Kerala that generates, transmits and distributes electricity in the state under government monopoly. Established in 1957, the agency comes under the authority of the Department of Power.

During the last financial year, KSEB Team took many customer friendly steps to boost Online Bill Collections.

The two prominent steps are:

01) ‘Kseb’ mobile app Easy electricity bill payment through mobile devices

 

02)                  Online Portal For LT Consumers - 'ORUMA Web' online payment of Electricity bills of LT consumers through centralised collection of payments from Friends and Akshaya Centres

An KSEB LT consumer can remit electricity charges in any of the following manner

·       Pay online using Net banking, Credit/ Debit cards.

·       Using KSEB mobile app

·       Using Bharat Bill Payment System web site.

·       Using Bharat Bill Payment system enabled apps/ web sites like Paytm, Phonepe, Google Pay, Mobikwik, Payu, Amazon pay etc.

·       By cash at the cash counter in any Electrical Section Office /collection centre.

·       By crossed local cheque or Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Assistant Engineer and sent by post or presented in person.

·       By MO payable to the Assistant Engineer.

·       In FRIENDS collection centres /Akshaya e-pay counters where this facility is available (payments accepted in these centres only up to due date given in invoice).

 

KSEB HT / EHT consumer can remit energy charges in the following manner:

·       Pay online using Net banking, Credit/ Debit cards. Click here to visit our HT/EHT online payment site

·       Demand Draft payable at Thiruvananthapuram drawn in favour of Special Officer (Revenue), KSEB, Thiruvananthapuram 695 004.

·       By transfer of funds to the non-operative collection account of Special Officer (Revenue), SBI, KSEB Administrative Complex Branch, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram 695 004.

·       By transfer of funds to the non-operative collection account with M/s HDFC.
