The Lal Bagh Flower show is back in action to charm visitors with more grandeur.

Lac plus visitors are expected to visit Lal Bagh during this flower show.
This
means Lal Bagh will play host to 15lacs plus visitors during the 213th edition
of the Lal Bagh Flower Show.
As of now, the majority of visitors will
be from Bengaluru, with few visitors from other parts of India.
Lal Bagh Flower Show is yet to
gain visibility outside Karnataka.
A little more marketing will zoom
up the visitor volumes.

to see the History of Bengaluru through various Models displayed across Lal Bagh.

to see floral arrangements of the following Exotic Flowers: -
Cala Lilly, Hydrengia, Sweet
williom, Agapanthus, Liatris, Onion flowers, HYPERICUM, Snapdragon, Tulips, Craspedia,
Spray roses, Eryngiun, Pin cushion, Stocks, Wax flowers, Hyacinth.
The 11-day flower show this year
is themed around the city’s history and evolution
During the flower show, the
1,500-year-old history of the city will be depicted via various tableaus, set
up in eight sections, based on historical periods of Bengaluru.
Over three lakh flower pots holding
97 types of flowers, including 20 exotic flowers, such as statice, calla lily,
and hydrangea, from various countries, will be on display.
The floral arrangements will
feature flowers from Karnataka as well as from the other states of India, such
as the cymbidium from Darjeeling, ornamental flowers from Pune, and the rare
flowers of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
On January 20th and 21st, visitors
will be treated to an ikebana show at the Farmer's Information Centre. The
Department of Horticulture has trained over 150 women and children in the art
of ikebana; they regularly participate in ornamental gardening competitions
Bangalore Metro may introduce a
special fixed metro fare for the Lalbagh flower show in Bengaluru.
This is similar to the special
fixed fare, introduced for the 212th edition.
The 212th Flower Show had a fixed
fare of ₹30 to all metro stations from Lal Bagh Metro station from August 13 to
August 15.
